Rest as Practice

A long afternoon of doing very little, on purpose

Rest is a skill that most of us have actively unlearned. This afternoon is dedicated practice at it — nothing to achieve, nowhere to get to.

Shapes are held for six to ten minutes, fully propped. Between them there is tea, and permission to stay lying down.

You do not need to be flexible, calm, or good at this. Restless is a completely normal way to arrive.

What you leave with

  • Four supported shapes you can rebuild at home with pillows
  • A sense of what your body feels like unhurried
  • Tea, blankets and a quiet room for an afternoon

This is educational wellness programming. It is not psychotherapy and does not create a therapeutic or clinical relationship.

Before we open

first sessions are coming.

The schedule below is a preview of the practice we are building, not a live timetable. Days, times and prices are set with our founding members and shared the moment they are real — no guessing, no placeholders on the wall.
