Restorative Yoga
Held shapes, long exhales, nothing to reach for
- Length
- 60 minutes
- Level
- All bodies, no experience needed
- Bring
- Nothing. Props, blankets and mats are here. Wear whatever you can breathe in.
Restorative is not stretching. Every shape is built up underneath you with bolsters, blankets and blocks so your muscles have no job to do. What is left is breath, weight and time.
We hold four or five shapes for three to six minutes each. That length is the point — a body needs longer than a few breaths to believe it can stop bracing.
The room stays dim. Nobody demonstrates. You will hear a description of the shape and where the props go, and then you will be left alone in it.
How the hour is shaped
- First 5 minutesArrive, build your first setup, no talking required.
- Middle 40Four to five supported shapes, each held long enough to soften.
- Last 10Full rest under a blanket. You may fall asleep. That is allowed.
Good fit if
- First time in a studio
- Chronic tension
- Recovering from burnout
Before we open
first sessions are coming.
The schedule below is a preview of the practice we are building, not a live timetable. Days, times and prices are set with our founding members and shared the moment they are real — no guessing, no placeholders on the wall.
In every class
you will never be touched without being asked first.
you can leave the room at any time, and no one will ask you why.
